Giving Tuesday Season

…now through November 28!

Between now and Giving Tuesday on November 30th, we invite you to help us strengthen childrens' faith like these who are attending the McCurdy After School Care Program by donating to McCurdy Ministries Community Center. Giving Tuesday donations support our General Fund and every one of our ministries. Once again this year, McCurdy is blessed with several anonymous McCurdy donors who believe in the difference we are making in Jesus’ name and have provided McCurdy Ministries with

$30,000 of matching funds

Our donors’ generosity means your gift of $100 will become $200 or your gift of $1000 will become $2,000. Your gift helps us “Give light. Give love. Give life.” and will be matched up to $2,500 as long as the match lasts if you give in one of these four ways:

1.Send a check marked to McCurdy Ministries Community Center, 362A S. McCurdy Road, Española, NM 87532. The envelope must be postmarked by Nov 30 and your donation must be specified for Giving Tuesday.

2. Between now and Nov 30, you can donate through this website. Your donation must be specified for Giving Tuesday.

3. If you are 70 ½ or older consider making an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution from your financial institution directly to McCurdy. The gift counts toward your IRA required minimum distribution and is not reported as income, so there are no adverse income tax effects. If you have questions about how to make such a donation please talk to your accountant or financial advisor. Your donation must be specified for Giving Tuesday.

4. On November 28 go to https://advance.umcmission.org/p-596-mccurdy-ministries-community-center-formerly-known-as-mccurdy-school.aspx to give to McCurdy through the United Methodist Advance. Only gifts given on Nov 28 through this option will be applied to the match IF it is still available.
